Possibility of terror activities ahead of the consecration ceremony of Shriram idol in Ayodhya

Mumbai – The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on 7th January, Sunday arrested six persons and recovered three guns and ammunition after raiding a guesthouse in Borivali (East) Mumbai. The ATS team recovered three guns, four magazines, 36 live bullets, a knife, a car and other materials from the accused, the official said. The arrested accused are from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Investigative agencies suspect that they may have come to carry out terror activities ahead of the consecration ceremony of Shriram idol in Ayodhya on 22nd January and the upcoming Republic Day. Further investigation is underway by the Anti-Terrorism Squad.
