Playing politics over Shriram for political gains is foolish

Statement by Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham

New Delhi – “It is inappropriate to play politics over Shriram. Politics should be conducted following Dharma. Dharma should not be politicised,” asserted Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham during an interview with a national news agency. The statement gains significance in light of Jitendra Awhad, a leader of the Sharad Pawar faction of NCP, making a derogatory remark that ‘Shriram was non-vegetarian,’ which caused repercussions in Maharashtra.

Shastri further said “There is a growing awareness among the citizens of India. Now they should vote according to their wisdom. A Government should be elected which has the vision to make India the Vishwaguru. Shriram is Maryada Purushottam. Shriram means prosperity, integrity and unity. Playing politics over Shriram for political gains is foolish”.

The current period is a golden age for Hindu Dharma

At this time, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri asserted that “There is no reason to dispute the presence of Deity Shankar in Gyanvapi. Mathura belongs to Shrikrushna. There is a judiciary in the country. The evidence that the Archaeology Survey of India has discovered substantiates the existence of Sanatan Dharma there. The wounds inflicted by Muhammad Ghori, Akbar, Babur etc. through temple attacks are now being healed. The current period is a golden age for Hindu Dharma and for Hindus”.

Editorial Perspective

Politicians who engage in politics over Deity Shriram are displaying their mentality fuelled by Hindu hatred. They should remember that Hindus have the democratic power to end their political career !
