
New Delhi – NIA conducted raids at 1,040 terrorist spots, in 2023. In these raids, 625 terrorists were arrested and more than 500 have been charged. This year, the Pune Module of Islamic State has got exposed, (which is, terrorists, move around like normal people in public; carry out bomb attacks and flee.) A press release in this regard has been circulated by the NIA. Along with this NIA has arrested 76 Naxals in the same year and filed 513 chargesheets.
In 2023, assets of more than Rs 56 crore have been confiscated. Regarding attacks on Indian Embassies abroad, raids were conducted on 50 locations, in which, 80 individuals were interrogated, and 46 suspects got identified.
NIA also conducted more than 250 raids on the places of those individuals who were related to the terrorists and criminals and chargesheeted 55 persons.
