Bihar’s ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh Kushwaha makes derogatory statements on Shri Saraswati Devi

Demand to replace Shri Saraswati Devi’s portrait with Savitribai Phule in schools

Patna (Bihar) – Bihar’s ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh Kushwaha has made derogatory comments about Shri Saraswati Devi, the Deity of Knowledge. They demanded that Savitribai Phule’s portrait should be installed in schools instead of Shri Saraswati Devi’s portrait. He was talking to reporters. His statement came against the backdrop of the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule, which is on 7 th January. MLA Kushwaha said that it is written in your own scriptures that Brahma married Sursati (Saraswati), who is his daughter, after his eyes fell on her. From this, you can understand, who is worshipped, the characterless, or the characterful. Kabir has said this, not me.

MLA Kushwaha had made derogatory comments about Shri Durgadevi in the past !

MLA Kushwaha had earlier criticised Shri Durgadevi and said that ‘Durgadevi’s story is fictional’. ‘If Durgadevi exists, why didn’t she save India when the British ruled ?’ Kushwaha called himself a ‘descendant of Mahishasur’. (Will such descendants ever respect the Hindu Deities ? – Editor) Kushwaha had said that according to Hindu scriptures, Shri Durgadevi was born after the invocation of Deity Shiva and other Deities. Hence Deity Shiva becomes her father. On the other hand, she is also known as Mahagauri. At that time Gauri was Shiva’s wife. He had questioned whether Deity Shiva married his own daughter.

MLA Kushwaha had further said that this is all a conspiracy of the followers of Manu. They used Shri Durgadevi to murder Mahishasur. Mahishasur was not killed, but murdered. Will the followers of Manu tell us on which battlefield Durgadevi fought with Mahishasur and what fight was she fighting in the night ?

Editorial Perspectives

  • Self-proclaimed so-called progressives have been criticising Shri Saraswati Devi, the Deity of Knowledge, for decades; however, the faith of the Hindus has not been and will not be affected, because they know the greatness of the Deity !
  • People committing such denigration of the Hindu Deities are never brought to justice; however, when Islam is denigrated, either the action is immediately taken or its followers directly take the law into their hands and commit criminal acts ! Since Hindus are tolerant, they don’t do any such thing !
