The main accused Mahant Chilojibuwa Guru Hamrojibuva on the run immediately after the case was registered against him

Case of missing jewels of Shri Tulja Bhavani Devi

Mahant Chilojibuwa attended a meeting with the Collector while the case was being registered

(Mahant is the head of a temple or monastery)

Dharashiv, Maharashtra – A case has been registered in the Tuljapur Police Station at 7:00 a.m. on 20th December in the case of theft of the ancient precious jewels of Shri Tulja Bhavani Devi. Mahant Chilojibuwa Guru Hamrojibuwa is the main accused in this crime. Shockingly, while this case was being registered, Mahant Chilojibuwa Guru Hamrojibuwa was present in the Shakambari Navratri festival review meeting organised under the chairmanship of the Collector. After this, however, Mahant Chilojibuwa has fled and the Police are looking for him.

Why could the Police not find Mahant Chilojibuwa after registering the crime ? Why was he not arrested ? How did he flee ? Is anyone trying to shield him ? Such questions have arisen in the minds of the devotees.

In the complaint, it is also noted that the silver crown too was embezzled

In this case, District Collector Dr Sachin Ombase has appointed Tehsildar Somnath Mali to file the complaint. In the complaint given by Somnath Mali, it is noted that the silver crown which was kept in box number 7 has been stolen and this silver crown was with Mahant Chilojibuwa Guru Hamrojibuwa during the period from 1963 to 2011.

Editorial Perspective

The accused immediately fleeing as soon as the crime was registered, is shameful for the Police. How will such incompetent Police ever catch the terrorists ?
