Bharat all set to seek Turkiye’s help in the release of eight retired Naval officers in Qatar

Doha (Qatar) – The Qatar Court sentenced eight Naval officers and a Sailor, to death, on espionage charges. Bharat is making constant efforts for their release. Bharat is also exploring the possibility of Turkiye’s help in this matter, as, Turkiye is friendly with Pakistan and Qatar.

Turkiye has good relations with Sheikh Tameem bin Hamad Al Thani of the Royal family of Qatar. That is why, India is trying to use Turkiye to mediate. India is also discussing this matter with the USA. The USA is on good terms with Qatar. If both these attempts fail, Prime Minister Modi may discuss them with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad of Qatar. Prime Minister Modi has good personal relations with him.

What is the reason for the tension between Qatar and Bharat ?

Bharat is friendly with Qatar, however, certain incidents have been causing tension between the two. Israel is an enemy of Qatar but is friendly with Bharat. Qatar cannot tolerate this friendship. Similarly, India is friendly with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Qatar cannot tolerate this too, because Qatar supports Jihadi terrorists. The leaders of the Taliban, Hamas, and Hezbollah, have their bases in Qatar. Qatar is also on good terms with Pakistan.
