2 Muslims, who made a sextortion call to a Union Minister, arrested

New Delhi – The Delhi Police have arrested Mohammad Vakil and Mohammad Sahib for making a sextortion call to Union Minister Prahlad Patel. On the 7th of June Prahlad Patel received a video call on his WhatsApp.  In which they played a pornographic video with the intention of blackmailing him. However, the Minister immediately disconnected the call. Later, he received a call in which the accused threatened to release his video clip of him watching the pornography video on social media. They demanded lakhs of Rupees from him to keep quiet about it. He filed a complaint with the Police and these two were arrested. However, the Main accused Mohammad Sabir was absconding. Police are on the lookout for him. The Police have got the information that there is a cyber gang that has this modus operandi active in the area.
