BRICS can work together to ban terrorist organisations : NSA Ajit Doval

Johannesburg (South Africa) – ‘The BRICS group of countries can work together on listing terrorist outfits and their proxies under the United Nations counter-terrorism sanction regime. It is also important that the decision of the UN Security Council Sanctions Committee be free from politics and biased standards’, said India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval without directly naming China and Pakistan. He was speaking at a meeting of National Security Advisors of BRICS countries. BRICS group includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

Doval added that terrorism is one of the major threats to national peace and security. Terrorist organisations are operating without any fear in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
