Five terrorists arrested in Bengaluru, Karnataka

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – The Central Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested five terrorists – Syed Suhail, Umar, Janid, Mudasir and Zahid – from Bengaluru. Explosives, 7 country made pistols, 42 live bullets, 2 daggers, 4 grenades, etc. have been seized from them. Police sources said that these terrorists were arrested while hatching a major conspiracy near a religious place in Kanakanagar. CCB also said that these five individuals are accused in a murder case from 2017.

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai said, “This is a big conspiracy. They wanted to carry out a series of bomb blasts in Bengaluru. This matter should be transferred to the National Investigation Agency”.
