Incident in Tumakuru (Karnataka)
Tumakuru (Karnataka) – Deputy Superintendent of Police B. Ramachandrappa (58) has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 30-year-old woman in the restroom of his office. He has been suspended following the incident. The action was taken after a video of the incident went viral on social media on January 2nd.
The victim had approached Ramachandrappa on the day of the incident to file a complaint regarding a land dispute. In response, he reportedly demanded sexual favours in exchange for assistance.
