A temple vandalized by unknown persons in Sagar (MP)

Sagar (MP) – On the afternoon of 4th January, some people with their faces covered vandalised a temple in Bara Bazar here. At this time, they attacked those who came forward to protect the temple. In this, Anuj Jadiya and Babu Jadiya were injured. Tension arose here as soon as the information about the vandalism spread. People staged a roadblock protest here. They demanded strict action against the accused. Hindus also protested outside the Police station. Currently, security has been maintained near the temple.

Injured Babu Jadiya alleged that they have a temple of their family Deity near Paras Temple. In the afternoon, 20 to 25 people closed the main door of the temple and started vandalism inside. When Jadiya and others resisted, the mob assaulted them and fled.

Hindus do not expect the vandalism of Hindu temples in Madhya Pradesh despite the BJP Government being in power for many years.
