Hindu journalist’s family attacked with sharp weapons in Bangladesh, 3 injured

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Unknown persons attacked the house of Hindu journalist Sugata Bose with sharp weapons in Madhukhali village of Faridpur in Bangladesh. In this attack, Sugata Bose’s mother Kakuli Bose, his freedom fighter father Shyamalendu Bose and one more person got injured. All those injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to the information given by the doctors, Shyamalendu Bose’s condition is critical due to a blow to the head and excessive bleeding. A Police case has been registered. The Police are searching for the accused. The Police have no information on how many assailants were there and the purpose of the attack. Sugata Bose is a special correspondent for ‘Ajker Patrika’ in Bangladesh.
