New Delhi – The people of Jammu and Kashmir who once lived under a cloud of fear have now begun to live in peace. A good change can be seen in the lives of the citizens because of the abrogation of Article 370. After an anarchy for 3 decades peace, tranquillity, and prosperity can be seen in the State. This decision has made strikes, stone-pelting, and shutting down of educational institutions a thing of the past, stated the Union Government in the affidavit. Petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court against the abrogation of Article 370. In this connection Union Government filed the affidavit on the instruction of the Supreme Court.
In the Affidavit, the Government said that in May 2023 G20 Tourism working group meeting was held in Srinagar. This was an important event in the history of Tourism in the Valley. After the abrogation of Article 370 foreign dignitaries were invited for this meeting. Now the atmosphere of terrorism is not there. In Kashmir schools, colleges, and business are functioning smoothly.
Even though this is true, it is a fact that Hindu’s are still unsafe in Kashmir. It is necessary that the Government pay attention to this fact.
