New Delhi – Canada has issued a statement after the Khalistani attack on the Indian Embassy in San Francisco, USA. Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly has tweeted, “Canada remains in close contact with Indian officials in light of some of the promotional material circulating online regarding a protest march planned for July 8th, which is unacceptable”.
A few days ago, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani terrorist in Canada, was killed. Khalistanis are holding two Indian officials Ambassador to the USA, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, and Consulate General of India Dr T V Nagendra Prasad responsible for it. A poster with violent imagery, the words ‘Kill India’ and photographs of its High Commissioner to Ottawa Sanjay Kumar Verma, Consul General in Toronto Apoorva Srivastava and Consul General in Vancouver Manish is being displayed.
The protest march is organised in Mississauga, Canada and is named ‘Khalistan Freedom Rally’. It will start from ‘Great Punjab Business Center’ and will conclude at the Indian Embassy. Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar is being called a ‘martyr’ and above mentioned Indian officials are being called his ‘murderers’.

Editorial Viewpoint
India should not believe such statements of Canada, which allows its own land to be used against India. The Indian Government should instead force Canada to ban the Khalistani movement. |
