Two Jihadi terrorists arrested in Uttar Pradesh for anti-national activities

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested two Jihadi terrorists, Saddam Shaikh and Rizwan Khan, in connection with anti-national activities. The duo was called at the ATS headquarters for questioning, where they admitted to have taken inspiration from the terrorist organisations like Al Qaeda, Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, Hizbul Mujahideen etc. They were campaigning through social media to make India an Islamic country. They were also publishing radical content in support of terrorist organisations. The ATS had called them for interrogation due to their suspicious activities.

The ATS spokesperson said, ‘Terrorists like Osama Bin Laden, Zakir Musa, Riyaz Naiku, Naved Nut, Sameer Tiger were their role models. Saddam was upset with the Supreme Court’s decision in the Shriram Janmabhoomi case and wanted to take revenge. He was publishing radical content for this purpose. He wished to receive training in weapons. He wanted to set up an army of the oppressed Muslims. He was in touch with Pakistani terrorists through a mobile app.
