Khalistanis in Canada celebrate assassination of Indira Gandhi

Ottawa (Canada) – Another shameful act of Khalistanis has come to light in Canada. A celebratory parade in Brampton city in Canada included a tableau depicting the assassination of Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India. The tableau referred to the assassination as a, ‘Revenge’. Dr S Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs of India registered an official protest against the Canadian Government stating, “I think there is a larger underlying issue about the space which is given to separatists, to extremists, to people who advocate violence”

The Indian Army had carried out ‘Operation Blue Star’ to flush out Khalistani terrorists from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. In 1984, Indira Gandhi, the Prime Minister at that time, was assassinated by her own Sikh bodyguards as a retaliation to the military operation. Canadian Khalistanis were seen celebrating the event, in the name of vengeance.
