Hindus suffering hell in Pakistan committing suicide due to not getting Indian visa

More than 14,000 abductions and conversions of Hindu girls in Pakistan in the last 12 years

New Delhi – Hindus are suffering a fate worse than hell in Pakistan. The kidnapping and conversion of Hindu girls have become a common occurrence. Fed up with this constant menace, the Hindus there want to immigrate to India, but many Hindus have started committing suicide as they are unable to get a visa to go to India.

1. Manji Luhar Upakhya Kaka, the President of Gadia Luhar Sahayita Samiti in Sindh said that he knows at least 4 Hindus who have committed suicide in the last 6 months. These Hindus had wanted to come to India but could not, hence, they took this drastic step. There are hundreds of Hindu families in Pakistan who do not get visas to come to India and the status of their families in Pakistan is in jeopardy.

2. Mohan from Mirpur Khas in Sindh wanted to come to Jaisalmer in India, but he is being denied a visa for almost 3 years. Fed up, he finally comsumed poison and ended his life. An old Hindu woman also ended her life by hanging herself due to not getting Indian visa.

3. Ganesh a Hindu displaced from Pakistan, now resides in Jaipur. He stated that his uncle who has 6 daughters works as a labourer in Rahimyar Khan in Pakistan. 3 of his daughters were forcibly converted to Islam by fanatical Muslims and one was killed. Ganesh came to India 10 years ago when he got an opportunity.

4. Vishnuram who was residing in Kotgulam, Pakistan, had a daughter who was studying in the IX Standard. Some local Muslims abducted her. Even after putting maximum effort to search for his daughter he could not find her. There are many people whose sisters and daughters are abducted by Muslims. The bereaved parents try to raise their voices but their pleas fall on the deaf ears of the Police and the judiciary.

5. The Rao family living in Mirpur Khas arrived in Rajasthan from Pakistan 3 months ago. One of his daughters got converted and abducted. People from the Rao family say that no one in their family knows about the condition of their daughter.

6. Social activist Roshan Bhil said that every family who has gone through this wants to forget the past, but it is not that easy. In the last 12 years, 14,000 Hindu girls have been abducted, converted and gang-raped in Pakistan.

Aggrieved by the atrocities committed on them in Pakistan, the Hindus there have demanded the Indian Government give them shelter in India. Hindu families have also demanded to be given visas enabling them to come to India. Further, they have also appealed to the Government to avoid the deportation of Hindus back to Pakistan.
