Ismail Yusuf
Surat (Gujarat) – Police arrested a man called Ismail Yusuf, a food vendor in Kosadi village in Surat District, for selling samosas stuffed with Beef to his customers. The Police took action as soon as they heard that this person was selling Beef in his shop.
The Police laid a trap to nab Yusuf, who was selling Beef-stuffed samosas. They stopped his cart and started inspecting it. They soon found the samosas stuffed with Beef and arrested Yusuf.
During interrogation Yusuf admitted to buying Beef from Sulaiman and Nagin Wasava to make the Beef stuffed samosas. (Shame on the Police for such an incident even after placing a ban on cow-slaughter and the sale of Beef in Gujarat. – Editor)
A certificate issued by an officer of the Forensic Science Laboratory confirmed that the seized samosas contained Beef. After this, the Gujarat Police registered a case against the accused and started their investigation.
