Sydney (Australia) – India-Australia got connected through three ‘C’s namely Cricket, Commonwealth and Curry. Now, we have come together due to mutual trust and respect between us both, expressed PM Narendra Modi before thousands of non-resident Indians in a programme here. Australia’s PM Anthony Albanese was also present. Prime Minister Modi guided the gathering on India-Australia relations, Indian culture, India’s progress, etc. He declared then that there would be a Indian High Commission in Brisbane, Australia. Prior to Prime Minister Modi’s address, Indian artists presented a programme featuring Indian culture. Harris Park would be named ‘Little India’ in PM Modi’s presence in Australia.

“The last time I saw Bruce Springsteen on this stage, he didn’t get the kind of reception that Prime Minister Modi got. PM Modi is the boss,” Albanese said. “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Prime Minister Modi to Australia. My first year as Prime Minister is what I am celebrating today. I have met my friend PM six times but there is nothing better than standing on stage with him like this, it is a pleasure to welcome PM Modi here”.
