On the day of Eid, Muslims offered prayers on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. As a result, an entire stretch of almost 5 kms was completely blocked. If we see the number of attendees in some of the videos that were circulated on social media, we may wonder if this was going on in Iraq or Syria. But alas ! This was happening very much in the Holy land of India. The road was also closed at Eidgah Chauraha in Meerut (UP) and prayers were offered. The important thing is that this large-scale gathering for namaz continues in many places in India – not only on Eid – but on other days as well. Similar videos do circulate on social media; however, nothing happens beyond some people reacting to them.
Muslims rule !
In some areas in India, the number of mosques is higher when compared with the Muslim population of that area. Mosques have been built on the platforms of Veraval and Prayagraj railway junctions in Gujarat and UP, respectively. Images of the Jama Masjid in Delhi from a drone show a large empty area inside and around the mosque; yet, large numbers of Muslims are seen praying on the streets adjacent to this mosque. In a State in North India, prayers were held in an open space inside a residential complex. They were stopped only when the residents objected and reported the matter to the Police. The Archaeological Survey of India refused to allow Hindus to worship at the Martand Surya Temple in Jammu & Kashmir; but on the day of Eid, fanatics burst firecrackers there !
Do Muslims want to offer namaz or want to dem-onstrate their strength under the guise of namaz ? The administration and the Police did not object to this; rather, the Muslims are sure that the Police will not object. Most Hindus realise that these incidents are continuing on the strength of their unity. Muslims are only a namesake ‘minority’ in India, where their unruliness is rampant; and if anyone objects, they feel free to fight on the strength of their unity !
Fanatics do not tolerate even if processions pass by their mosques during Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti or other Hindu festivals; they pelt stones at these processions, set fire to shops, desecrate Idols. In other words, they seem to want to make it clear that not only the mosques, but also the surrounding areas are under their rule.
Crimes during Ramzan
On the one hand, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee feels that Muslims will not do anything bad during the Holy month of Ramzan; while in reality, it was during the Ramzan fast that a minor Hindu girl was gang-raped and brutally murdered by her fanatic friend and his accomplices in Dinajpur (Bengal). The Bengal Police recovered her body from a lake and literally dragged it across the road. What kind of a mentality does the Bengal Police have ?
Are the Police not trained to handle dead bodies ? Hindus feel that this not only displays the inhumanity of the Bengal Police, but also their hatred for Hindus. In the month of Ramzan itself, slogans such as ‘Atiq-Ashraf Amar Rahe, Yogi Murdabad’ were shouted after the Friday prayers in Bihar. In Kerala, a fanatic set fire to a train and killed some passengers.
An advertisement is currently being aired by a famous luggage brand. A Muslim youth is praying when a Hindu girl wearing a sari approaches him. He gives her a Punjabi dress which she wears; the later scenes show that he takes off her bindi and accepts her after asking her to place a veil over her head. Why was this advertisement released now ? Do the fanatics want to send a message to ‘Love trap’ Hindu girls and convert them during the period of Eid ?
Muslim scholar Dr Syed Rizwan has said that Muslims should be questioned on why they offer namaz on streets. Another intellectual said, “When such a large number of Muslims are celebrating Eid in India, do you see any Hindus objecting to it or obstructing their celebration of the festival ? However, the same thing does not happen during Hindu festivals. While Muslim scholars and intellectuals in India have this feeling, Arabs and other Muslim countries feel that Muslims are insecure in India”.
Why are prayers not offered on Waqf land ?
The Waqf Board owns over 8 lakh acres of land. If Muslims are short of space, why do they not offer Eid prayers on Waqf land ? Hindu ceremonies and celebrations take place on grounds, without blocking any road. Demonstrating power by taking to the streets in the name of namaz, torturing Hindu girls and attempting to convert them, committing crimes, are nothing short of attacks on Hindus. If these things are not stopped now, tomorrow it will be difficult for Hindus to even walk on the roads and lead a normal life. The administration and Police have to take this into consideration and curb the Muslims as well as make them aware ! Most of the Hindus feel that offering namaz on roads in a country that has a Hindu majority is not a religious act, but a show of strength !
