Nairobi (Kenya) – In an incident from Kenya, 47 people have died due to starving for days and burying themselves in order to meet Jesus. They were influenced by a pastor named Paul Makenzie from the ‘Good News International Church’. There are few children among those who died. The Police have so far recovered 47 dead bodies from the jungle near Malindi town; the number might increase. The pastor has been arrested, who had told these followers, that if they bury themselves, they would meet Jesus and get a place in heaven. Pastor Paul claimed, he did not instigate anyone to commit suicide. He also claimed to have closed the Church in 2019.
