Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has resolved to completely rid the State of ‘Land Jihad’. (Congratulations to Dhami who decided to take strict action against Land Jihad ! – Editor) There are approximately more than 1,000 illegal mazars in the State. They have been located and action will be taken against them.

Chief Minister Dhami visited Rishikesh on 16th April 2023. That time he participated in ‘Ganga Aarti’ at Parmarth Niketan. After this programme, Dhami addressed the people present there. Chief Minister Dhami said, “Illegal mazars have been built in many places on the banks of the Holy River Ganga. The Government has started a drive to remove these encroachments.”

From December 2022 to March 2023, Dhami Government demolished 41 such illegal mazars. The Government is once again going to take action against 1,000 more illegal mazars.

Editorial Viewpoint

Was the Government sleeping when such a huge number of illegal mazars were being built ? Dhami should take action against those who allowed such illegal constructions and make Uttarakhand free from Land Jihad.
