Hyderabad  (Telangana) – On the 6th of April staunch pro-Hindu MLA from Goshamahal T. Raja Singh was taken into preventive custody for the Hanuman Jayanti Celebration. He was kept at the police station for the full day and later released in the evening. T. Raja Singh was going to join the Hanuman Jayanti procession taken out by the Hindu Organisations. There he would make objectionable statements, hence Police arrested him.

1. In his Tweet, he stated, ‘Like every year, he was preparing to join the Hanuman Jayanti procession at the Ram Temple Goliguda Chaman in his district Goshamahal when the Hyderabad Police apprehended him’. He added, “I want to ask the administration and the police department that I cannot even take part in the procession of Lord Hanuman in my constituency as a Hindu?”

2. An FIR was filed against T Raja Singh for his allegedly contentious statements during the Ramnavami Procession here.

Editorial viewpoint

Has it been heard that any Muslim has been taken into preventive custody as it is feared that there would be attacks on a Hindu religious procession from a mosque ? If the Police were so prompt not even the one Hindu religious procession would have been attacked. But in this country the Hindus are treated with contempt, hence the Police take action against Hindu Leaders. This situation makes the establishment of Hindu Rashtra imperative !
