Offensive statement about Deity Shriram

Raebareli (UP) – A case was registered against the Samajwadi Party leader and former minister Swami Prasad Maurya for making offensive statements in a meeting. Maurya had raised a slogan, ‘Mulayam and Kanshiram came together, Jai Shriram flew into the air’. Such a slogan was in practice three decades ago in UP.
