Ladakh’s parts included in the new counties being created by China

Randhir Jaiswal said, “China is trying to create two new counties in its Hotan province. Some parts of these counties fall in Ladakh. India has never accepted China’s illegal control over Ladakh. China’s declaration of new counties will not have any impact on India’s sovereignty. We have complained about this.”

India objects to China’s largest dam

On the largest dam being constructed by China, Jaiswal said that China is working on a project related to power generation on the Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra) river in Tibet. India gets water from this river, and we use it. Therefore, we have continuously expressed our concerns regarding China through diplomatic channels.

Jaiswal at this time rejected the original report published by the Washington Post that “Indian intelligence agency RAW did not want to remove Muizzu from power in the
Maldives.”
