BJP leader shot dead by unknown assailants in Bengal

Kolkata (Bengal) – Unknown assailants shot and killed BJP leader Raju Jha in the Asansol-Durgapur area of East Bardhaman District. When he stopped near a sweet shop in Kolkata, unknown assailants broke the glass of his car with an iron rod and fired at him. He was hit by five bullets and died on the spot, while two others were injured. Immediately after the incident, the accused fled. Raju Jha was a coal merchant. Earlier he was arrested in the case of coal smuggling.
