New Delhi – “Some goon has said that on the day of Ramnavami, we will come out with weapons and do a procession”. “I will not stop the procession of Ramnavami, but if weapons come out, the Government will take action. The month of Ramzan is also going on; if anyone tries to do anything wrong, he will not be spared. No one has the right to trigger a riot,” warned Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding Ramnavami processions. Many Hindu organisations will take out processions on the occasion of Ramnavami in Bengal.

She also asked the Hindus to avoid going to “Muslim areas” because it is the month of Ramzan. “I want to request those who are taking out the Ramnavami procession, please do but do it peacefully. Kindly avoid Muslim areas as Ramzan is going on. Celebrate peacefully but don’t try to create violence. Don’t get provoked,” she said.

• Police always deny Hindu religious processions to pass through Muslim areas. Even if processions pass from there, Muslims forbid playing musical instruments and on refusal, they throw stones at Hindus from mosques, rooftops. This is the reality. Still, Bengal Chief Minister blames Hindus and threatens them. This is outrageous !
• It is unfortunate that Hindus in Bengal have a Chief Minister who consistently backs religious fanatics and is unfair to Hindus. To prevent this, Hindus must try to finish Trinamool Congress politically !
