Varanasi (UP) – On 22nd February, in its 104th meeting the ‘Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust’ took the decision to increase the ticket price of Mangal Aarti from Rs 350 to Rs 500. The price for the Sapta Rishi Aarti, Shringar Bhog Aarti, and Midday Bhog Aarti tickets would increase from Rs 180 to Rs 300. In this meeting, Chairman Prof. Nagesh Pandey, council officer Kaushal Raj Sharma and Government officer Rajlingam were present. These charges will be applicable from 1st March. This price has been increased after 5 years. Previously the prices were increased in 2018. The trust council said that the prices have been increased considering the increasing number of devotees in the temple.

No changes in the prices of Rudrabhishek and Prasad
The special executive officer of the temple Sunil Kumar Verma said that only the prices of the Aarti have been increased. There is no change in the prices of Rudrabhishek and Prasad. The temple has received donations of ₹150 crores in the year 2022-23 and the temple expenses are ₹40 crores.
