
Patna (Bihar) – The National Investigation Agency (NIA), in a joint operation with the Bihar Police, conducted an extensive raid in the Kuwa village under the Chakia Police station in Motihari, Bihar, late on 3rd February night and took eight people including three PFI members into custody. The reports said that one of the three PFI members arrested was Riyaz Maroof, who issued the bomb threat. He was conducting a training camp for PFI activists in the Phulwari Sharif region in Bihar. Since then the Police have been searching for him. The Shaligram stones were taken through this area for Shriram Idol in Ayodhya. The Motihari Police again tweeted refuting the link between the reported arrest and the bomb threat to the Ayodhya temple.

PFI has targeted to make India an Islamic nation by 2047. This came to light at the time of the raid conducted in Phulwari Sharif. The plans to build the mosque on the site of Shriram temple also came to light at that time.
