I was inspired by the concept of Dharma in Hindu Dharma : Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of Britain

Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of Britain

London (Britain) –  I was a bit disappointed after losing to Liz Truss in the last election. ‘After this defeat I thought that this is the end of my political career’. “For me, it’s about duty. There’s a concept in Hinduism called dharma, which roughly translates into duty and that’s how I was raised. It was about doing the things that were expected of you and trying to do the right thing.”  This is what inspired me to contest the elections again, said Rishi Sunak, British Prime Minister in an interview on the Piers Morgan Channel to mark the completion of 100 days of his new Government.

Prime Minister Sunak further mentioned that ‘In the last 100 days, I have faced many challenges as the Prime Minister and I am sure that I will definitely face many more challenges ahead; but I am confident that we will overcome these challenges. As it is our duty to serve the people, I honestly believe that we will bring change in the country.
