‘Serving Jhatka chicken in mid-day meals to Muslim students is part of the RSS agenda !’ – accusation of the Parents
They claimed that serving Jhatka chicken in mid-day meals to Muslim students is part of the “RSS agenda to hurt their religious sentiments.” (‘Whose agenda is it then of feeding Hindus Halal meat ?’, will the Muslim parents answer this question ? – Editor)
The Government notification does not mention either Jhatka or Halal !
Trinamool Congress (TMC) Government in West Bengal has added eggs, chicken, and fruits to the usual menu which includes rice, potatoes, pulses, vegetables, soybean, and eggs. They have not specified whether the chicken is Halal or Jhatka. (There is no doubt that after this incident the pro-Muslim Trinamool Congress will modify the order and arrange the giving of Halal meat to the Muslims ! – Editor)
What is ‘Halal’ and ‘Jhatka’ meat ?
For meat to be Halal, the animal to be slaughtered is placed facing Mecca, its throat is slit and it is left to bleed to death. Jhatka is the method of slaughtering animals in the Hindu, Sikh, and other Indian religions. In this method, the animal’s neck is chopped off in one strike killing the animal immediately thus being less traumatic for it.
