Halal banner removed from Konkan Festival in Dombivli !Effective result of campaign against halal enforcement !


Thane (Maharashtra) – A stall named ‘Halal Munchiese Food Corner’ was set up at Dombivali during the Konkan festival, which was brought to the notice of devout Hindus. Devout Hindus and some organisations strongly opposed this stall. Social media started spreading awareness messages regarding this. As a result, the owner of the stall removed the banner ‘Halal Munchiese Food Corner’ from the exhibition.

1. ‘Konkan Festival 2022’ has been organised from 14th to 25th October at Nehru Maidan in Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation. ‘Konkan Mahotsav 2022’ has been organised from 14th to 25th October at Nehru Maidan of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation. Mr Ajit Dhamanskar, a devout Hindu, noticed this stall and the banner.

2. Mr Dhamanaskar spread awareness among the citizens through social media posts.

3. Devout Hindus along with Mr Dhamanaskar protested against the stall and questioned the organisers as to why the stall of Halal food was set up in the Konkan festival organised on the occasion of Hindu Diwali.

Against the conspiracy of Halal, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other like-minded organisations formed the Anti-Halal Enforcement Action Committee. Halal is being widely opposed through it.
