Madras High Court’s order for Tamil Nadu

Chennai – The Madras High Court has banned obscene and vulgar dances and songs during the Dasra festival. Police have been ordered to take appropriate action if anyone does it. The Court gave the verdict while hearing a petition filed in this regard.

It was demanded that the Court orders the organisers and those who provide the music system during the Dasra celebration not to play songs other than devotional songs and also not to perform obscene dances. It will protect the traditional culture and religious sentiments of millions of devotees.
