New Delhi : India has rejected Pakistan’s allegation that it was behind the terrorist attack on the headquarters of the Sindh Rangers paramilitary force in Karachi. In a statement, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal clarified that Pakistan’s allegations were completely baseless. He also said that Pakistan should abandon its practice of using terrorism as an instrument of State policy. Three terrorists and three soldiers were killed in the attack. The terrorists who carried out the attack belonged to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist organisation.

Pakistan launches attacks on Afghanistan; claims 35 civilians killed
After the terrorist attack in Karachi, Pakistan carried out air strikes on certain parts of Afghanistan around midnight on 28 June. (Pakistan attacks terrorist bases in Afghanistan after terrorists based there carry out attacks in Pakistan. Likewise, if India attacks terrorist bases in Pakistan, why does Pakistan create an uproar ? – Editor)
Although Pakistan claimed that the strikes targeted bases of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar terrorist organisations, Afghanistan alleged that a large number of civilians were killed in the operation. The attacks on residential areas in Paktika and Kunar provinces killed at least 35 civilians and injured more than 100 others. The Pakistan Government has claimed that 25 terrorists were killed in the operation.
