New Delhi – While addressing the nation during the 135th episode of his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on 28 June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his appeal to “save fuel and limit gold purchases for some time”. He thanked the people of the country for their cooperation in the backdrop of the tense situation in West Asia and the global energy crisis.
The Prime Minister further said, “My earlier appeal received a positive response from across the country, and many families adopted various measures to conserve fuel. People made greater use of shared transport for travel. This helped save fuel, reduce traffic congestion, and also contributed to environmental protection.”
