The threat of Khalistan militant attacks in Punjab ahead of PM’s visit

Chandigarh – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mohali in Punjab on 24th August. Tata Cancer Hospital will be inaugurated by him. Against that backdrop, Pakistan’s ISI intelligence agency is attempting to create terror in Chandigarh and Mohali. The Punjab Government has been informed by the Intelligence Bureau that Khalistani terrorists can attack any bus station.

1. A few days ago, Punjab Police arrested four Khalistani terrorists in Delhi. According to their interrogation, the terrorists are planning massacres in Delhi, Moga and Mohali. Terrorists may also target some Punjab officials and leaders.

2. There are several prominent names among them, including former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa, former Minister Gurkeerat Kotli, Vijayander Singla, and Parminder Pinky. A list of 10 people has been sent to the Punjab Police by the Intelligence Bureau. An order has been given to increase the security of all of them.

Editorial viewpoint

Khalistani terrorists and their ideology have been crushed in the past. They are once again trying to make their presence known. In order to prevent them from harming anyone, strict action needs to be taken against these terrorists.
