Whole family will be killed in eight days : A Hindu in UP threatened

An unknown person sticks a threat letter on the door

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – In Keshavpur village in Bareilly district under Sirauli Police station, a Hindu named Dinesh Pandit found a threatening letter pasted on his door. It contains a threat to kill the Pandit family. This has created panic amongst local Hindus. On receiving information about such a threat, the area Police Officer Chaman Singh Chawda promised to give protection to the Pandit family. Chawda also said that the culprit would be nabbed soon.

It has been stated in the letter pasted on the door of Dinesh Pandit that ‘Dinesh Pandit, you would not understand so easily. Keep quiet; else your whole family would be killed within eight days. Then, nobody would come forward. Stop being a saviour of Hindus. No Hindu would come forward in your support. Presently, not a single person from the village is with you. If you keep helping everyone, you will be definitely killed.’

Editorial viewpoints

  • Hindus getting such death threats in a country where they are in majority is a matter of shame !
  • It is not expected in Uttar Pradesh led by a staunch Hindu leader like Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that Hindus have to live under threat ! The concerned fanatic needs to be arrested and severely punished !
