Bengaluru – After the high-level meeting held between the senior Police officers in the State and ministers, it has been decided to hand over the investigations into Pravin Nettaru murder case to NIA, informed the State Chief Minister Bommai to the media in the evening of 29th July 2022. Bommai also said that the case was being transferred to NIA as there is the involvement of organised crime, besides having inter-State links.

We will be five steps ahead of Uttar Pradesh in matters of encounters ! – Ashwath Narayan, Minister for higher education, Karnataka

The guilty in the Pravin Nettaru murder case will be arrested, but we (BJP workers) feel that such incidents should not occur. Action will be taken as per the expectations of the party workers. We shall be five steps ahead of Uttar Pradesh in the matter of encounters, stated Ashwath Narayan, Karnataka’s minister for higher education.

‘Yogi model’ of Uttar Pradesh will be implemented in Karnataka, if needed ! – CM Bommai

(Yogi model means the policy of taking stringent action against criminals by UP Police and administration)

BJP workers are quite enraged after Pravin Nettaru’s murder. They are not satisfied with the stand and action being taken by Chief Minister Bommai. In this background, Bommai has said that ‘Yogi model’ would be implemented in Karnataka if need be. All necessary steps would be taken. We would not hesitate to be more stringent if required. It is, therefore, now asked whether bulldozers would be used even in Karnataka like in UP.  People expect that, like in UP, bulldozers would be used against unauthorised houses and shops belonging to persons involved in crimes in Karnataka also.

1. BJP’s MLAs and MPs from Karnataka are facing the wrath of party workers.

2. BJP’s workers are quite impressed with the bulldozers’ politics in UP.

3. Yogi Adityanath’s strict policies are stated to be responsible for improving the law and order situation in UP; therefore, BJP workers are strongly demanding the implementation of the ‘Yogi model’ even in Karnataka.
