US launches fresh strikes on 10 Iranian military sites despite ceasefire
Iran retaliates with attacks on US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain

Washington (USA) – Accusing Iran of violating the ceasefire agreement, the United States launched fresh strikes on 10 key Iranian military sites. US President Donald Trump announced the operation on social media.
Trump wrote that US fighter aircraft targeted 10 locations in Iran where missiles, drones and coastal radar systems were deployed. He said the action was necessary because Iran had violated the ceasefire. “We tried to handle the situation, but if there is no improvement, the United States is prepared for a large-scale military operation. If that happens, we will permanently wipe the Islamic Republic of Iran off the map,” Trump warned.
Providing details of the strikes, US Central Command stated that on the morning of 27 June, an Iranian drone attacked a Panama-flagged merchant vessel. In response, the United States carried out strikes on Iran’s military surveillance, communications, air defence and drone storage facilities.
“You will suffer hellish consequences !” – Iran’s warning
In retaliation for the US strikes, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched missile and drone attacks on US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in the early hours of 28 June. Iran also warned the United States and the Gulf countries that they would “suffer hellish consequences” in the coming days.
The IRGC further stated that the US attacks on Sirik Island would not weaken Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz. It also said that strict action would be taken against those violating maritime regulations and that rules governing safe maritime navigation would be further tightened.
