
Lucknow (UP) – In September 2020, a special CBI Court had acquitted 32 people in the demolition case of Babri Mosque in Ayodhya. The plea challenging this verdict will be heard in the Allahabad High Court on 1st August. The plea was filed by Haji Mahmood Ahmed and Syed Akhlaq Ahmed from Ayodhya.

The 32 accused include former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Singh, senior BJP leaders Murali Manohar Joshi, Vinay Katiyar, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, Uma Bharti, Sadhvi Ritambhara etc.
