Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – The BJP Government in Uttarakhand has removed the restrictions on the garbhagruha of the Kedarnath temple. Now the tourists can enter the garbhagruha for taking the Darshan.

Every year, lakhs of devotees visit the Kedarnath temple. The temple is open from morning 5 to 9 at the night.

Editorial viewpoint

The decision regarding the entry into the garbhagruha (sanctum sanctorum) of the temples should be taken by the religious priests in the temple. The garbhagruha has special spiritual importance. The purity there has to be maintained. This is followed in all the big temples in the country. Hence, the administrators should not take such an important decision !
