
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – The Government of Karnataka has approved the Kashi Yatra Scheme. Under this scheme, 30 thousand Kashi Vishwanath Yatra pilgrims will be given an assistance of Rs 5,000 each. In its order, the Government authorised the religious endowment department commissioner to utilise Rs 7 crore sanctioned for the ‘Kashi Yatra’.

In a statement, the Minister for Religious Endowment, Hajj and Wakf, Shashikala Jolle said that only residents of Karnataka can avail this scheme once in a life.
