Trinamool hooligans behind the murder, BJP’s allegations

Kolkata – The corpse of 45-year-old BJP worker Sahdev was found hanging on a tree in Kotaldighi in Bankura District. BJP State Committee has alleged that Sahdev was killed by Trinamool Congress hooligans. The death has been recorded as ‘Unnatural death’. As per the News published, Sahdev’s corpse has been sent to a hospital in Bishnupur District for post mortem.

Sahdev was an active worker of BJP. He was an ice cream seller. BJP informed that he was working at Gopalpur Dhaka Pada in Kotulpur Assembly Constituency. BJP has alleged that he was killed while returning home and his corpse was hanged to show it to be a suicide. An agitation blocking the National Highway was held under the leadership of MLA Niladri Shekhar Dana.

Shukla Chatterjee, leader of the opposition party in Vishnupur Municipality had a silent march in the memory of Sahdev. While giving information about this case Vaibhav Tiwari, the Superintendent of Police said that ‘Sahdev was murdered’ was baseless. Before this incident, 22-year-old BJP worker Debashish was found dead hanging on a tree in Khejuri in Medinipur.
