4 burqa-clad women corporators remain seated as the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ plays in a Municipal council meeting at Muzaffarnagar UP

Muzaffarnagar (UP) – some corporators insulted the National Song Vande Mataram at a municipal council meeting in Muzaffarnagar. A video of four burqa-clad women corporators sitting while the others in the meeting were seen standing in honour of the national song, has gone viral on social media.

Union Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy, and Fisheries Sanjeev Balyan was also present at the meeting. Union Minister Balyan said that if a woman will insult the national song, how will she strengthen the society ?
