Decision of the Yogi Adityanath’s Uttar Pradesh Government

Lucknow (UP) – The farmers abandon their cows when they stop giving them milk. Yogi Adityanath’s Uttar Pradesh Government is going to file cases against such farmers. ‘Action will be taken against these farmers under the prevention of cruelty to animals act’ said the Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh.
Singh said in the Vidhan Sabha, that 50,000 shelters for 1 lakh destitute animals in the State will be created within 100 days. The State Government has plans to build 1 lakh shelters in the next 6 months. Prime Minister Modi has earlier told the farmers that they can get income from the cow dung when the cow stops giving them income from milk.
