TN BJP leader hacked to death in Chennai

Chennai (TN) – Tamil Nadu BJP SC/ST Morcha South Chennai president Balachandran (30) was hacked to death on 24th May by a three-members of a gang, while he was having tea in Chintadripet. He was attacked with a knife. When he had received a threat of killing, the Government had provided him with a security guard for his safety. The murder appears to be due to rivalry in the past.

The opposition party, AIADMK leader Edappadi Palaniswami slammed Chief Minister MK Stalin for failing to improve the law-and-order situation in the State. He said that 18 were murdered in the last 20 days, meaning the city has been a danger to life. People’s security was at stake.
