An FIR has been filed against the YouTube Channel for uploading the video !

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – ‘Samvad’ a YouTube Channel uploaded a video of two women performing namaz next to the Karnataka High Court Judge’s podium. The title of the video read ‘Namaz inside the Karnataka High Court’. An FIR has been registered against the YouTube Channel for uploading a video of the High Court without prior permission.
The FIR has been filed because of the accusation that such videos will create or promote enmity, hatred or ill-will between different faiths. However, as of now, the Channel has removed the video from YouTube. An advocate R. Putayya has lodged a complaint with the registrar of the Court against the two women for performing namaz next to the Judge’s podium. (Why should such a complaint be lodged ? Doesn’t the Court Administration feel this is a mistake? Or did they give a prior permission to the women to perform namaz ? – Editor)
