
Mathura (UP) – After the Shivlinga was discovered in the Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi the Court ordered the sealing and Police protection of the area at the request of the Hindu side. Against this background, a petition has been filed in the Mathura Court, that the sanctum sanctorum of the Shahi Idgah Mosque on Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi land be sealed. This request has been made so that there is no damage or tampering done by the Muslim side.

The petitioner Mahendra Pratap Singh has also asked the District Collector and Police Commissioner for protecting the area. A petition has already been lodged for the survey and videography of the Shahi Idgah Mosque as was done at the Gyanvapi. This matter will be heard on the 1st of July.
