Neemuch (MP) – On the night of 16th May in the ‘old kacheri’ area of Neemuch, the religious fanatics attacked the Hindus. Hindus also retaliated. This led to violence in the area. Which in turn made the area tense. The Police brought the situation under control. There is a large Police presence in the area to maintain law and order. Section 144 is imposed in the area. During the violence, arson and vandalism were reported. The Police informed that people of both communities were gathered there. They were arguing with each other.

Hence, individuals of both communities were asked to come to the control room, but thereafter some started pelting stones. No one was reported injured.
