Russia halts electricity supply to Finland

Moscow (Russia) – Russian Power generating Company ‘RAO Nordic’, has stopped the electricity supply to Finland. The reason given for this action is the nonpayment of the electricity by Finland. This company has been supplying electricity to Finland for the past two decades. Finland said there was no threat to its electricity supply as Russia supplies only 10% of its consumption. We will take the extra electricity from Sweden. Despite this, the experts say that electricity shall become costlier by 30% in Finland.
